Koi Carp Series The Koi Carp series of watercolours represent several years work during my North American phase. Of the seventy or so paintings in this series some are square or rectangular, others circular, and they range in size from 20 to 100 cm. All are painted on hand-made paper that's first undergone Sumi marbling, leaf embossing, collaging and gilding. |

Portraits
It is in the nature of portraits that they tend to be painted by commission, as were these examples during my time in Brazil.
Mostly I worked on hand-made paper, drawing in graphite pencil and coloured pencil, followed by watercolours.
